Paul Fort

Paul Fort is currently a Senior Competition Counsel at SAP, with 22 years of experience in merger control, antitrust law, general commercial law, and Mergers & Acquisitions in an international context. They previously held the position of Senior Competition Counsel at Bayer AG from 2013 to 2024 and served as Head of Chempark Services at the same company from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, Paul worked as an Associate in the Competition Department at Hengeler Mueller from 2001 to 2005 and held the role of Legal Counsel at Bayer Material Science AG from 2005 to 2010. Paul also served as Head of Commercial Law & HSE at Bayer Business Services from 2010 to 2012. They earned a Doctorate in Law from the University of Münster between 1993 and 1998.
