Peter Maier

Peter Maier is the current President of Industries & Customer Advisory at SAP. Prior to this, they were the General Manager SAP Industries from June 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they were globally responsible for the SAP business with companies and organizations in various industries, such as Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, High Tech, Industrial Machinery and Components, Chemicals, Defense & Security, Mill Products & Mining, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Public Sector, and Travel & Transportation.

Under their leadership, the team successfully delivered intelligent solutions that enable customers to sustainably optimize and transform their businesses. Peter also drove the SAP Roadmaps program that provides customers with clear guidance on how to use the intelligent suite and SAP digital platform – both powered by SAP’s intelligent technologies.

In order to scale the SAP guidance for customers and help them become intelligent enterprises, they oversaw the design and delivery of the award-winning SAP Transformation Navigator – a free self-service tool available to customers and SAP partners.

Peter Maier graduated from INSEAD's Global Leadership Program.
