Richard Whittington currently serves as the Global Head of Media, Sports and Telecommunications at SAP, a position held since February 2009, where Richard leads the go-to-market and cloud strategy for these industries. Previously, Richard held several senior vice president roles at SAP, focusing on strategic direction and product development within the Media, Sports, Media, and Entertainment sectors. Prior to joining SAP, Richard worked at IBM, managing business transformation projects in the Media and Telco industries, and at PwC in management consulting. Richard holds an M.Sc. in Information Systems in Business from the University of Brighton and two degrees in Education from the University of Sussex.
