Robert Wölker

Robert Walatka is a PhD student at the University of Chicago, focusing on applied behavioral economics in household finance and energy/environment. Prior to this role, Walatka served as a predoctoral fellow at the Harris School of Public Policy, where research centered on behavioral science and energy policy, including a solar adoption survey project for the Department of Energy. Experience as a research assistant involved collaboration with Professor Kim Wolske on consumer behavior related to energy costs. Earlier positions included roles at Save the Children International, where behavioral interventions aimed to enhance child welfare in Southeast Asia, and work in financial consulting at KPMG. Walatka holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Washington.
