Steve Winkler is an experienced leader in technology and product innovation, currently serving as the Head of SAP BPI - Process Intelligence for North America at SAP since July 2019. With a strong background in developing and executing cloud and open technology strategies during previous tenures at SAP, including roles in the Office of the CTO, Winkler has played a key role in steering investments and innovations through initiatives such as SAP.iO. Winkler also has significant experience from GE Digital, where contributions were made to the advancement of the Industrial Internet of Things, and has established a foundation in software engineering through early roles at Polytopic Corporation and Breakthrough to Literacy. Winkler holds a B.S. and B.A. in Computer Science, German, and Business from the University of Iowa.
