Thomas Hertz is a technology leader with extensive experience in engineering processes and developer experience at SAP SE, where they currently serve as CTO for SAP Industry Cloud. They previously held several leadership positions within SAP, including Head of Technology C/4HANA and Head of Developer Experience. Before their tenure at SAP, Thomas co-owned Volunteer World, connecting volunteers with social projects globally, and was an aerial photographer and videographer, utilizing drone technology to capture stunning imagery. They also contributed as a board member at the Cloud Native Computing Foundation from 2020 to 2022. Thomas holds a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich.
