Yahvin Gali

iXP Software Developer Intern

Yahvin Gali is a dedicated computer science student at the University of California, Los Angeles, with experience in various roles within research and engineering domains. As a Senior Student Researcher in the UCLA Elegant Mind Lab, Gali developed LLM-powered Jupyter Notebook environments to enhance data analysis in undergraduate Physics Labs. Working under Professor Katsushi Arisaka, Gali also served as Head of Engineering & AI, overseeing 40 undergraduate students in creating web and AI solutions. Previous experience includes contributions to ACM Teach LA, promoting computer science education in underserved schools, and participation in the NLP Track Team at ACM at UCLA, focusing on Natural Language Processing projects. Gali is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Visual Machines Group and has an internship at SAP as an iXP Software Developer Intern, where contributions to machine learning models are underway. Gali possesses a strong educational background in Mathematics and Computer Science, with involvement in volunteer initiatives at Inspirit AI, where skills in machine learning and neural networks were further developed.
