Zsolt Varanka

Zsolt Varanka is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud engineering and SAP system administration. Currently serving as a Senior DevOps Engineer - SME for Technical Applications at SAP, Zsolt is integral to the Technical Application Service Owner Team, focusing on service engineering and automation for cloud operations. Prior to this role, Zsolt worked at ExxonMobil for nearly 18 years, holding multiple positions including Cloud Engineer, Platform Administrator Analyst, BASIS Engineering & Design Analyst, and SAP BW BASIS analyst, where responsibilities encompassed system design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of various cloud and SAP systems. Zsolt began a career at IBM as an ERP BASIS analyst, providing comprehensive support for customer SAP systems. Zsolt earned a PhD in Environmental Biochemistry and Biotechnology alongside a Master's degree in Biology & Chemistry from the University of Szeged.
