Alexandros Kouris

Alexandros Kouris has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alexandros started their career as a Salesman and Promoter for various companies from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, they worked as an E-shop IT Manager, where they built and managed the Papantoniou.gr e-shop.

From 2015 to 2015, Alexandros worked as an Assistant Engineer at the National Technical University of Athens, where they contributed to the development of the "AssistGlove" project, focusing on FPGA platforms.

In 2016, they joined the National Technical University of Athens again for their Diploma Thesis, where they worked on hardware accelerators for big data analysis, specifically focusing on Graph analysis algorithms for the GraphX API of Apache Spark.

Since 2017, Alexandros has been working as a Software Engineer at Saphetor, where they are responsible for developing high-performance C++ genomic annotation and storing technologies for their genomic search engine, as well as integrating external sources of genomic variation data.

Alexandros Kouris completed their education from 2009 to 2017 at the National Technical University of Athens. Alexandros obtained a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering during this time.
