Nolan Windholtz has a diverse work experience history starting from 2005. Nolan began their career as an International Undergraduate Materials Research Assistant at Werkzeugmaschinenlabor, WZL der RWTH Aachen. Later, they worked as a Heavy Equipment Sales Engineer (Intern) at The Dupps Company. Their work at Whirlpool Corporation began in 2008 as a Manufacturing Industrial Engineer, followed by a role as a Lean Project Analyst. In 2010, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) for The Ohio State University. After that, they worked at Precision Castparts as a Development Product Engineer, followed by a role as a Titanium Investment Casting Product Engineer, Level II and Titanium Investment Casting Dimensional GD&T Engineer (Level III). After that, they worked as a Design Engineer, Machine Tool & Die for Black Diamond Equipment. Later, they worked as an iPad (DFx) Manufacturing Mechanical Design Engineer for Apple. Nolan joined Cummins Inc. in 2018, as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Manager, Mechanical & Applications Engineering at Sapience Automation since November 2021.
Nolan Windholtz attended Miami University between 2004 and 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. After a break from formal education, they studied at The Ohio State University from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Master of Science in Material Science and Engineering. Nolan later returned to academia in 2021 and is currently enrolled at Purdue University to pursue a degree in Data Science.
