Andris Veinbergs

Andris Veinbergs has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to 2015. Andris began their career as the Head of the IT Department at Kuldiga district council, where they were responsible for creating a common IT infrastructure and establishing IT administration in multiple municipalities and service providers. Andris then moved on to work at Latvijas Pasts as the Chief Information Security Officer, where they managed the eSignature project and ensured compliance with quality and security standards. Andris later joined LVRTC as the Chief Information Security Officer, overseeing various project teams and managing software deployment, administration, and audits. Following this, they worked at Autentica & OPEN ID as the Chief Engineering Manager, demonstrating a deep understanding of critical business drivers in multiple markets and industries. Their responsibilities included project management, business and systems analysis, and building relationships with decision-makers. Andris also worked at TryIT as an Engineering Consultant, where they were responsible for IS security project management and new process development. Their most recent position was at Sapiens as the Head of Support Services.

Andris Veinbergs earned a Bachelor's degree in IT from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) from 1999 to 2005. Andris also obtained the CISM certification in 2009 and the ECDL certification from the European Union in 2003.
