Jiong Sun

Jiong Sun, Ph.D has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Sr Consulting Software Engineer at Cognos Inc until 1999. In 1999, they served as a System Architect at Ynot.com and then moved to JETSTREAM Communications as a Sr Software Engineer. From 2001 to 2016, Jiong Sun worked at Cisco Systems, first as a Technical Leader and Software Architect, and later as a Sr Software Architect (Tech Leader II). In 2017, they joined Nividien as an Architect/Sr Software Engineer and worked until 2020. Afterwards, they joined RedSeal, Inc. as a Software Architect until 2022. Currently, Jiong Sun is working at Alpaca as a Sr Software Architect and will be starting a new role as a Founding Engineer at SapientAI in December 2022.

Jiong Sun, Ph.D has a solid education background in engineering. They completed their Bachelor of Science degree in engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in engineering at Aix-Marseille University. Lastly, Jiong Sun earned their Doctorate of Philosophy degree in engineering from Aix-Marseille University as well.
