Rob Hong

Rob Hong, CFA MFin, is the founder of Sapling Financial Consultants Inc. since April 2014, specializing in financial consulting. Prior to this, Rob served as Senior Manager in Finance at Bell, where responsibilities included evaluating complex financial deals and supporting executive decision-making through detailed financial modeling. A Senior Consultant at KPMG Canada, Rob contributed to efficiency improvements for a wholesaling and retailing association, while as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Artemis Investment Management, Rob focused on fundamental analysis and fund management in large-cap Canadian and US equities. Early career experience includes an analyst role at IBK Capital Corp. Rob holds a Master of Finance from Queen's University, a Master of Theological Studies from Wycliffe College, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Toronto. Rob is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Financial Risk Manager.
