Brendan Reed

Brendan Reed is a Consulting Immunologist at SaponiQx since August 2021 and served as Principal Scientist at GlycoEra AG from July 2022 to November 2023. Prior to these positions, Brendan was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and National Jewish Health, focusing on antigen generation and processing in autoimmune diseases and Type 1 Diabetes under the mentorship of John Kappler. Brendan completed a Ph.D. in Immunology at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences from 2011 to 2016, and held a graduate position at Mayo Clinic alongside undergraduate research in phytochemical cancer immunotherapies at St. Lawrence University, where a B.S. in Biology was obtained. Additional educational experience includes study at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen during 2008-2009.
