Arumugam Maruthanayagam has over 20 years of work experience, beginning in 1999 at Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd as a Systems Analyst. In 2002, they moved to Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Senior Associate (Tech Lead) for Taxware in MA, USA. In 2003, they joined Birlasoft Ltd as an Architect for E-Billing in WestPort, Malaysia. In 2004, they moved to Satyam Computer Services Ltd as an Architect for iDESK Solution for International Finance Corporation (IFC), WorldBank, Washington DC, USA. In 2005, they joined VeriSign India Pvt Ltd as a Technical Architect for RoamerView and Radius Product Development. In 2006, they moved to IBM as a Chief Architect and designed the First Ever IBM Intelligent Operations Center for Transportation (IOT) solution for New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA). In 2018, they joined NetFoundry as the General Manager - India Development Centre, heading the India Development Centre for the development of highly secure, performant, application-specific global networks at scale web-based orchestration tools and APIs. In 2019, they moved to Genpact as Vice President, Product Engineering and led the Product Technical Leadership on Cora PharmacoVigilance which embeds AI and machine learning to improve data quality and insight across regulatory operations. Finally, in 2022 they joined Ola Electric as Director Product Engineering, heading the Engineering team of Data Platform and MLOps. Arumugam has designed Data pipelines, MLOps platform from Open Sources, and a generic Data Platform (Cloud Agnostic) product Roadmap Strategy. Arumugam has also received awards from TCL CEO and Netfoundry co-Founder.

Arumugam Maruthanayagam's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Data Science from the Swiss School of Management from 2021 to 2024, an Executive Programme in Data Science from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow from 2019 to 2020, a Master of Computer Application from Bharathidasan University from 1998 to 2004, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Madras from 1993 to 1996. Arumugam also holds certifications from IBM, The Open Group, and Sun Microsystems.
