Kieran Butcher

Kieran Butcher is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and security engineering. Currently serving as Security Engineering Manager and previously as Senior Security Analyst at Sapphire since November 2019, Kieran contributes to managed services such as SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, and Threat Intelligence. Prior roles include Security Consultant at CYBG PLC and L1 SOC Analyst at the University of Aberdeen. Kieran also worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at Atos and has experience as a Security Operations Analyst and Apprentice Information Security Specialist at McDonald's. Educational background includes a SCQF Level 8 Diploma for Information Security Professionals obtained through a QA Apprenticeship and foundational education at Elgin Academy.
