Dr. Adeem Arshad Awan

Dr. Adeem Arshad Awan, a seasoned professional in biomass supply chains and agribusiness, currently serves as the Head of Biomass Supply Chain at Sapphire Finishing Mills Limited, specializing in national-scale biomass procurement and logistics. Previously, Dr. Awan held key roles at Bulleh Shah Packaging Pvt. Ltd., including Biomass Procurement Manager and Biomass Development Manager, where expertise in strategic sourcing and the development of Pakistan’s first structured biomass supply chain was demonstrated. With earlier positions as Farm Manager at Beaconhouse Group and Territory Manager at Ali Akbar Group, Dr. Awan has a strong background in agricultural operations and sales. Educational credentials include a PhD in Food Supply Chain Management, alongside an MBA in Life Sciences Marketing and a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture. Ongoing professional development in sustainability studies is also pursued at MIT Professional Education.
