Preston McDonald

Preston McDonald has a extensive work experience in the energy industry. Starting from 2008, they worked as a Project Manager at Thigpen Energy Construction, where they provided consulting, management, and execution solutions for energy industry clients. In 2013, they became an Operations Manager at Thigpen Energy, L.L.C. and played a crucial role in transforming the company's business model to focus on natural gas fueling in the high horse power industries.

After that, in 2014, McDonald joined TRF Energy Solutions as a Technical Director - Fueling, specializing in engineering, design, and deployment of custom LNG and field gas fueling solutions for drilling, pressure pumping, and industrial markets. Preston then moved on to Thigpen Energy as a SR. Director of Operations in 2015, where they managed day-to-day operations duties for the company, including personnel, estimating, logistics, equipment purchasing, and business development.

In 2018, McDonald assumed the role of VP of Sales and Marketing at Thigpen Solutions, where they were responsible for sales and marketing strategies. Currently, they are the Director of Business Development at Sapphire Gas Solutions, a position they have held since 2020.

Preston McDonald attended Texas A&M University Galveston Campus from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Maritime Administration.
