Ali Abbas

Ali Abbas has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Ali is currently working as the Head of Human Resources at Sapphire Textile Mills Limited since November 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Talent Management (Energy, Textile, Sugar, Packaging, Mining & New Businesses) at Fatima Group from March 2022 to November 2023. Before that, they served as the DGM HR Corporate at US Apparel & Textiles from June 2021 to March 2022.

From December 2019 to June 2021, Ali worked as the Head of Total Experience at Mukhtar A. Sheikh Hospital, Fatima Group. Prior to that, they held the role of HR Business Partner for Textile, Sugar, Packaging, Hospital, Airone & Commodities at Fatima Group from November 2016 to November 2019.

Earlier in their career, Ali served as the HR Manager for various companies including Inspectest (Pak & UAE), Grey Mackenzie (UAE), Descon Chemicals, Descon Power, and DTI at Descon from February 2013 to November 2016. Ali also gained experience as an Officer HR and Junior Officer HR at NetSol Technologies Inc. from June 2010 to January 2013.

Ali Abbas has an MBA degree in HRM from the Institute of Management Science, which they completed from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a B.com degree in Commerce from Bahauddin Zakariya University, which they completed from 2004 to 2006. Ali has also earned a certification in Performance Management System from Quickbiz, although the specific month and year of completion are unavailable.
