Cate Beggins

Cate Beggins is an investment professional with a comprehensive background in finance and operations. Currently serving as an Investor at Sapphire Ventures since August 2024, Cate previously held a role in Strategy & Operations at Simpplr, a portfolio company of Sapphire Ventures. Prior experience includes impactful positions at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking division focusing on Technology, Media, and Telecommunications from July 2021 to April 2024, and at Mizuho in Investment Banking with a concentration on Consumer & Retail from July 2017 to June 2021. Cate's career began with a brief role in Finance & Client Experience at ER Express in 2015. Cate earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance with a double major in Mathematics from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and also attended Trinity College Dublin in 2015.
