Per Grufman

Per Grufman is an accomplished executive in the field of molecular diagnostics and biotechnology, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Biocrucible since January 2023, overseeing the development of molecular and lateral flow diagnostics with nearly 80 staff members across two locations in Cambridge. Prior experience includes serving as VP of R&D at LumiraDx, where responsibilities encompassed point-of-care product validation and lifecycle management, and over six years at Cepheid AB as Executive Director of Research and Development, where the focus was on global molecular diagnostics. Grufman's earlier roles also include leadership positions in R&D at Cepheid, AbSorber, and Accuro Immunology AB, highlighting a strong background in research strategy, product development, and regulatory affairs. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Immunology from Karolinska Institutet and a Master of Science in Biology from Stockholm University.
