Eric vander Velde

Eric Vander Velde is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in environmental science. Currently serving as a Geologist/Hazmat Specialist at Sapphos Environmental, Inc. since February 2020, Eric has previously held positions at Tidewater Inc. and MWH, now part of Stantec, where significant contributions were made over a 17-year duration to the Santa Susana Field Laboratory site characterization project. Eric began the professional journey at Ecology and Environment, Inc., where foundational knowledge in the environmental field was acquired, and further honed project management skills at Brown and Caldwell. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Emporia State University and coursework in General Studies from The University of Kansas.
