André Oberholzer

André Oberholzer has extensive experience in corporate affairs, currently serving as Group Head of Corporate Affairs at Sappi Limited since 2001. In this role, responsibilities include global oversight of internal and external communication, reputation management, stakeholder engagement, corporate branding, corporate social responsibility, sponsorships, and initiatives. Prior to Sappi, André held various positions at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation from January 1988 to August 2001, including a five-year assignment in Geneva at the South African Mission to the United Nations and WTO, and served as Personal Assistant to the Director-General for two years. André holds a BComm degree in Law, Economics, Accountancy, and Law from the University of Pretoria, earned between 1984 and 1987.
