Paul Martens

Paul Martens is an experienced engineer with a strong background in project and maintenance engineering, specializing in the industrial, paper, and petrochemical sectors. Since founding Paul Martens Engineering in January 2016, Paul has provided technical advice on instrumentation and process control. Collaborating with Aurati, Paul has led the upgrade of a combined heat and power plant's control system, migrating from a 1995 Siemens AS-Teleperm system to a Siemens PCS7 redundant PLC. Paul has a longstanding association with Sappi, having worked there since 1989, and has served as Project Leader with Lanko on a cleaning foam installation. Previous roles include Project Leader and Lead Engineer at PDM and an engineering position at ADCO-Zuid. Paul Martens holds a degree from MTS Sittard, completed in 1986.
