Dr Niamh McHugh

Dr. Niamh McHugh is an experienced sports coach and academic specializing in women's rugby development and geographical research. Currently serving as the Saracens Women U18 Pathway Lead and the PDG Girls Lead Coach for England Rugby, Niamh manages and delivers comprehensive coaching and educational programs for young players. Niamh has also contributed to academia as a Doctoral Student at the University of Leicester, focusing on the impact of digital marketing on rural gentrification, along with experience in teaching and research roles. Previous positions include leading the U18's pathway at Loughborough Lightning Rugby, research assistance for various initiatives, and early career roles in sports and facilities management. Niamh holds a PhD in Geography and multiple degrees in social sciences and sports studies.
