Statistical Programmer at Sarah Cannon

Amy Su has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Amy started their career in 2009 as a Laboratory Technician at Vanderbilt University's Molecular Biology lab. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of a Research Technician in Vanderbilt University's Epidemiology lab, where they worked until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, Amy worked as a Medical Coding Specialist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2020, they worked as a Biostatistics Intern at the Tennessee Department of Health's Cancer Registry before joining Sarah Cannon as a Statistical Programmer later in the same year.

Amy Su completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology at Lipscomb University from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Certificate program in Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder at Nashville State Community College from 2012 to 2013. Later, they obtained a Master's degree in Biostatistics from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) between 2018 and 2020. Amy also holds several certifications, including the SAS Certified Clinical Trials Programmer Using SAS 9, SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9, and SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9, all obtained from SAS. Additionally, they achieved the CPC Certified Professional Coder certification from the AAPC in 2014.
