Sylver Carter has a diverse work experience in various organizations. They started their career as a Research Assistant at Louisiana State University, where they worked on numerical analysis of liquid crystals and domain decomposition of nematic liquid crystals. They also worked as a Student and a Mathematics Fellow at the University of North Alabama. At Aegis Sciences Corporation, Sylver served as a BioPharma Accessioning Technician. They then joined Middle Tennessee State University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Sylver later worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Tennessee STEM Education Center (TSEC). Currently, they hold the position of Associate Statistical Programmer at Sarah Cannon and previously served as a Biostatistician Fellow at the same company.
Sylver Carter completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of North Alabama in 2020. Following this, they pursued higher education and obtained a Masters of Science degree in Professional Science with a specialization in Biostatistics from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) between 2020 and 2022.
In addition to their academic education, Sylver Carter also obtained a SAS Certified Specialist certification in Base Programming Using SAS 9.4 from SAS in November 2021.
