Founder, CEO & Creative Director at Sarah's Silks

Sarah Lee began their career in 1984 as a Staff RN at Mount Desert Island Hospital. Sarah then joined the Peace Corps in 1985 as a Public Health Nurse. In 1988, they moved to San Francisco General Hospital as a Family Clinic & Triage R.N. In 1992, they joined The Doula Project as an RN/Doula supervisor, where they helped match up volunteer doulas with pregnant teens, trained the doulas and supervised them, and attended births. Finally, in 1994, they became the CEO & Creative Director and later the Owner/Creative Director of Sarah's Silks.

Sarah Lee attended Belfast Area High School in Belfast, ME, where they earned their High School Diploma in 1980. Sarah then attended Simmons University from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a BSN in Nursing.
