Brendan Langheim

Brendan Langheim has over 18 years of experience in various finance and leadership roles. Brendan is currently the Head of Financial Planning, Analysis, and Change at Sarasin & Partners LLP, where they oversee financial planning, analysis, and change initiatives. Prior to this, Brendan served as the Finance Change Project Lead at the same company.

Before joining Sarasin & Partners LLP, Brendan worked as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at VSA Capital, a London-based investment bank. In this role, they had responsibilities for financial management, risk management, reporting, and compliance. Brendan also served as the Interim Head of Finance during their time at VSA Capital.

Brendan also gained experience at Barclays Investment Bank as a Vice President, where they led the design and enhancement of reporting platforms within the Global Portfolio Credit Risk Reporting Function. Brendan played a key role in developing strategic data reconciliation processes for banking and trading book exposures.

Prior to that, Brendan worked at Close Brothers as a Finance Manager/Interim FD. Brendan was involved in strategic planning and financial evaluation to ensure the company's financial health. Brendan also performed financial modelling for potential mergers and acquisitions.

Earlier in their career, Brendan worked as a Financial Control Manager at Centrica, where they managed the company's controls frameworks and provided risk reporting. Brendan also served as an Audit Supervisor/Assistant Manager at KPMG, where they performed external audits and provided financial advisory services.

Brendan Langheim received a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from Rhodes University in the years 2000-2003. Brendan also achieved a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) qualification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
