Matthew Shockley

Matthew Shockley is an experienced informatics analyst with a diverse background in data analysis and management systems. Currently employed by Sarasota County Government since November 2021, Matthew interprets and analyzes data to provide strategic insights related to the county's overall benefits plan results. Prior experience includes serving as a business systems analyst for the City of Richmond, where responsibilities involved developing and overseeing technical processes for annual reassessments and maintaining comprehensive reporting applications. Matthew also worked as an appraiser for the City of Petersburg, handling property assessments and tax-related duties, and began a career as a realtor with Chappell Real Estate Inc. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University, among other relevant qualifications.
