Eric Bell

Eric Bell is an accomplished musician currently serving as Principal Horn for the Sarasota Opera Orchestra, holding this position for 16 consecutive seasons since January 1996. Based in Houston, Texas, Eric also freelances with prominent organizations such as the Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera, Texas Brass Ensemble, and Theater Under the Stars, and has extensive experience in Broadway pit orchestras. Additionally, Eric has a strong background in guest services, having worked as a Guest Service Representative at Whole Foods Market from May 2001 to August 2020, where responsibilities included ensuring a positive guest experience and managing Front End operations. Eric holds degrees in Horn Performance from Hochshule Mozarteum Salzburg and the New England Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Music, Music Theory, and Languages from the University of Connecticut.
