David Marcum

David Marcum is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in investigations, training, and leadership. Currently serving as a Civilian Investigator at the Sarasota Police Department since January 2023, David previously held the position of Investigator III at the Department of Criminal Justice Training from November 2012 to February 2022. Prior to that, David served as a Lieutenant at the Lexington Division of Police for over two decades, from January 1990 to October 2011. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Police Administration from Eastern Kentucky University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
