Eric Urbain

Eric Urbain serves as the President of the Sarasota Police Officer Association (IUPA Local 6045) since January 2022, overseeing labor relations, legal representation, contract negotiations, and employee relations. Concurrently, Eric is a Police Officer in the Patrol Division of the Sarasota Police Department, fulfilling the role of training officer. Previous experience includes serving as a Sergeant at the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, a Psychological Operations Specialist in the United States Army Reserve, and holding various positions within the County Corrections and Emergency Medical Services. Eric Urbain holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
