Connor McCauley

Lead Engineer at Saratech

Connor McCauley has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as a Busboy at Zio Fraedo's, where they provided excellent customer service and took on additional responsibilities. From 2014 to 2017, they held various roles at Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, including Executive Vice President and Executive Secretary, where they oversaw committees and facilitated communication among members. In 2015, they worked as an Attorney Courier at Court Support, handling legal documents and completing tasks independently. In 2016, Connor was a Lead Manufacturing Engineer in the Robot Design Project, where they designed and built a robot. Connor also participated in the Baja SAE Racecar Design Project from 2016 to 2017, serving as a Front Suspension Team Member and conducting FEA analysis. From 2017 onwards, they joined Saratech, initially working as an Application Engineer Intern, then as a Project Engineer, Staff Engineer, Technical Manager, and currently as the Lead Engineer. In these roles, they led engineering teams, created technical proposals, managed projects, and improved company processes.

Connor McCauley received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Connor has additional certifications, including being a Siemens Sales Rep obtained from Siemens PLM Software in September 2021, a Certified SolidWorks Associate obtained from UC Irvine in July 2015, and Simcenter 3D obtained from Siemens Digital Industries Software in December 2021.
