Marissa Marr

Marissa Marr (Horton) is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as Associate Director and HR Business Partner at Sarepta Therapeutics since September 2020, after progressing through roles of Senior Manager and Manager in the same field. Prior to Sarepta Therapeutics, Marissa worked at Markforged as a Human Resources Business Partner and Generalist from July 2018 to September 2020, and at Pegasystems as a Senior Human Resources Operations Coordinator and HR Operations Coordinator from June 2015 to July 2018. Marissa also gained experience as a Health Coach at the Office of Health Promotion and participated in athletics as a team member of Boston College Division I Track and Field. Marissa's early career included internships in HR at Pegasystems and Aviva Stadium. Educationally, Marissa is pursuing an MBA at D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, expected to graduate in April 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Human Development from Boston College, obtained in 2015.
