Rachel Salazar

Rachel Salazar has a work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. Rachel started their career as a Physical Therapist at Starfish Therapies in September 2012 and worked there until June 2013. Following that, they joined Columbia University in the City of New York as a Research Physical Therapist from August 2013 to October 2019. Rachel then transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, working at Sarepta Therapeutics. Rachel began as a Medical Science Liaison in September 2019 and held that position until October 2021. Rachel then served as a Senior Medical Science Liaison from October 2021 to March 2022. Currently, Rachel works at Sarepta Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Global Medical Affairs, focusing on KOL Engagement, starting from March 2022.

Rachel Salazar earned their Bachelor of Science degree in 2008 from the University of Connecticut. Rachel then went on to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, which they completed in 2012. Currently, Rachel is enrolled at Seton Hall University, where they are working towards achieving a Doctor of Philosophy degree, with an expected completion date in 2023.
