Susan Mendrala Lomax

Susan Mendrala Lomax, MSPOD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in employee experience, internal communications, and corporate communications. Currently serving as the Director of Employee Experience & Internal Communications at Sarepta Therapeutics since February 2018, Susan has advanced through various roles within the company, including Associate Director and Senior Manager. In addition to work at Sarepta, Susan is the Founder and Principal of Engagement for Impact, established in June 2021. Prior experience includes positions at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Associate and Idera Pharmaceuticals as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer. Susan holds a Master's degree in Positive Organization Development and Change from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and is pursuing a Master's in Corporate & Organizational Communication at Northeastern University, along with various certifications in social media management and health communication.
