Christian Santos has a diverse and extensive work experience. Christian started their career in 2001 as a Getty Grant recipient and Department of Photographs Curatorial Intern at The Getty Museum. Christian then worked as a Getty Grant recipient and Preservation Advocate at The Los Angeles Conservancy in 2002. In 2003, they were a Graduate Exhibition and Design Intern at The National Gallery of Art, where they were involved in CAD plans and exhibit design.
From 2004 to 2005, Christian worked as an Intern Architect at Marmol-Radziner and Associates, where they gained practical experience in architectural design. Christian then joined the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a Colodny Scholar in 2005, focusing on property measurement and historical building survey drawings.
In 2006, Christian had two roles simultaneously, serving as an Intern Architect at GUND Partnership, working on design competitions and producing drawings and models, and as a Teaching Assistant at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
From 2007 to 2010, Christian worked as a Project Designer at Machado and Silvetti Associates, where they were involved in code research, construction drawings, and physical models for various projects.
Christian joined Marmol Radziner + Associates in 2010 as a Project Manager, overseeing multiple projects, including luxury clothing stores, custom homes, and a museum. Christian'sresponsibilities included project management from the ground up and adaptive-reuse projects.
Most recently, Christian Santos has been working at Sares Regis Group since 2014. Christian started as a Development Manager in the Multi-Family Division and progressed to the roles of Development Director, Senior Development Director, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Development.
Christian Santos has a strong education background in architecture and real estate development. In 1993, they graduated from Harvard-Westlake High School. Christian then attended Tufts University from 1999 to 2000 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Christian completed their Bachelor's degree in Architecture at Columbia University from 2000 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, graduating in 2007. Later on, in 2013, Christian enrolled at the University of Southern California for a Master's degree in Real Estate Development, which they completed in 2014. In addition to their formal education, Christian Santos obtained certification as a Procore Certified Associate from Procore Technologies in October 2015.
