Devon Ratliff has held various leadership and engineering roles in different companies. In 1996, they started working as a Product Engineer at Trane until 2000 when they became a Design for Six Sigma Black Belt. In 2003, they joined Lexmark as a Senior New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer and went on to become the New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering Manager in 2006. From 2013 to 2017, Devon served as the Senior Product Development Engineering Manager at Lexmark. Since 2017, they have been with Sargent and Greenleaf, initially as the Director of Engineering and later as the VP of Engineering. Currently, they are the VP of Government Services at Sargent and Greenleaf.
Devon Ratliff obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1994, Devon Ratliff also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Morehead State University. In addition to their formal education, Devon Ratliff has obtained various certifications throughout their career. This includes being an Engineer in Training (EIT) as recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in 1996. Other certifications include ISO Auditor/Lead Auditor from the British Standards Institute BSI-KSA in 1998, Six Sigma Black Belt from Lexmark International, Inc. in 2006, "Driving Change" Leadership Development Program Graduate from Lexmark in 2015, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2020.
