Sargento
Kari Jacobsen-Gagnow, CFS, has over two decades of experience in the food science industry, currently serving as Technology Principal at Sargento Foods Inc. since November 2005, where previous roles included Research and Development Manager in the Consumer Products Division and Sr. Scientist. Prior to this, Kari worked as a Sr. Research Scientist at Birds Eye Foods from 2003 to 2005 and as a Sr. Food Scientist at ConAgra Foods from 1995 to 2003. Kari holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Food Science from Iowa State University, which was attained between 1992 and 1994, and an Associate of Science degree from Iowa Central Community College, completed from 1990 to 1992.
