Kalana Gunawardana

Kalana Gunawardana is a seasoned professional in the apparel industry, currently serving as Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Sargesse Business Solutions since January 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Business Operation Director at Hop Lun, where Kalana managed a US$ 100 million business with esteemed brands like Victoria's Secret and H&M, and as Chief Solutions Provider/Consultant at Sargesse Business Solutions, offering strategic consultancy to medium-sized apparel companies. Kalana's career began at Bodyline Pvt. Ltd., progressing through various merchandising and management positions, before serving as Associate Vice President at Mast Global, where a sourcing spend of US$ 700 million was overseen. Kalana holds an MBA from the University of Gloucestershire, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Leicester, and a Diploma in Business Management from the National Institute of Business Management in Sri Lanka.
