Abdul Sharopov is the current CEO of Sarmo Labs, a startup studio based in the UK and Uzbekistan. Abdul also serves as an Advisor at AloqaVentures, the largest local venture fund in Uzbekistan with $10M AUM. Prior to these roles, Abdul worked as a Ventures Associate at Plug and Play Tech Center and as a Consultant at Battery Road Digital. Abdul has also gained experience as a DevOps Engineer, Venture Scout, Business Development, and Consultant in various companies. Abdul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Yale-NUS College and has completed a Summer Session in Global Strategy and Leadership from Yale University.
