Nicolas Grislain has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to the present. Nicolas is currently the Co-founder and CSO of Sarus Technologies since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director Data Scientist at Verizon Media from August 2018 to March 2020. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the General Manager AlephD at Oath. Nicolas founded AlephD in 2012 and worked as its Founder and CSO until January 2016. In the same year, they also founded Cinequant and held the role of Founder until December 2013. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Nicolas worked as a Quantitative Risk Management professional at Société Générale from September 2010 to March 2012. Nicolas started their career as an Economic and Financial advisor at Direction générale du Trésor (French Treasury) from September 2006 to September 2010. Nicolas also had a brief stint as a Trainee at the University of California, Berkeley in 2002.

Nicolas Grislain began their education in 2000 at École normale supérieure de Lyon, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2004. In the same year, they pursued their studies at ENSAE Paris, earning a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Quantitative Finance, Economics, and Statistics by 2006. Additionally, Nicolas attended Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Optimization, Game-Theory, and Mathematical Economics. Lastly, in 2003-2004, they furthered their education at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics.
