Manu Tissera is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transformational leadership, project management, and communications. Currently serving as Chief Transformation Officer and Head of the Artha Dharma National Secretariat at the Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement of Sri Lanka since August 2020, Manu also holds roles as a Co-Investigator at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and has provided consultancy on gender policy with the Centre for Development and Research Interventions. Manu's prior experience includes significant positions at Plan International Sri Lanka and the Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka, along with earlier roles in marketing and business analysis within the Ceylinco Conglomerate. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Japanese Management Studies from the University of Colombo and ongoing postgraduate studies in Business Administration and Management.
