Jakob Ejlsted

Jakob Ejlsted is an experienced professional in the field of Human Resources and People Analytics, currently serving as the Head of People Analytics at SAS - Scandinavian Airlines since October 2024, where Jakob is responsible for building the People Analytics and Strategic Workforce Planning function from the ground up. Prior to SAS, Jakob held the position of Global Head of Organisational Design & Effectiveness at SABIC from March 2022 to October 2024, supporting a company recognized as the second most valuable brand in the chemical industry. Jakob also worked as VP People & Culture - Strategy & Insights at bp from August 2020 to March 2022, contributing to the company's net zero ambitions. Previous roles include Global Head of People Strategy, Analytics and Systems at Seadrill and Principal Consultant with Mercer, one of the largest HR consulting firms globally, where Jakob focused on people strategy and analytics for major clients. Jakob's career began as an HR Manager at Maersk Group, and Jakob holds a Cand.Merc.HRM degree from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Roskilde University.
