Miguel Polanco

Miguel Polanco is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in aircraft interiors and in-flight entertainment engineering. Having worked at Avianca from May 2018 to October 2023, Miguel contributed to airworthiness solutions, failure analysis, and implementation of national and international regulations for multiple aircraft types, including the Boeing 787 and Airbus A330. Prior to Avianca, Miguel held engineering roles at VECA Airlines and Inmobiliaria Constelación, focusing on maintenance reliability, project management, and continuous improvement of operational safety. An alumnus of the University of Hertfordshire, Miguel holds degrees in Aerospace and Management Engineering, complementing a strong technical foundation with management expertise. Currently serving as a Payload Engineer at SAS - Scandinavian Airlines, Miguel continues to uphold high standards of reliability and safety in aviation.
