Niko Ek is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and strategic contracting within the aviation industry, currently serving as Head of Strategic Contracting at SAS - Scandinavian Airlines since August 2013. Niko has held multiple senior roles, including Regional General Manager Europe and Head of Global Sales Operations, where responsibilities encompassed leading sales teams, developing distribution strategies, and driving digital transformation. Previous positions include Director of B2B & Agent Sales in Finland and Account Marketing Manager at Lindström Oy, demonstrating a strong background in key account management and sales strategy execution. Niko's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Marketing and Business Law from Hanken School of Economics. In addition, Niko contributed as a Council Member at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK from June 2017 to June 2023.
