Director & Chair of External Relations at Sasaki

Liz is Sasaki’s Chair of External Relations, serving on the Board of Directors to oversee business development, marketing, and communications. As an interior designer, Liz combines strong aesthetic sensibility with an experienced-based and data-informed approach to design and space planning to create meaningful spaces. She brings a unique approach to each of her projects, seeking inspiration from multiple project typologies to envision solutions.

Liz designs with the experience of people kept top of mind and believes connecting space to a company’s brand and desired experience is an important part of successful space design. She advocates for an iterative and collaborative design process on every project to create innovative features for client and project needs. In her design of offices she is particularly interested in understanding how people work together and how to design for interaction. Applying her unique approach, Liz designs functional, flexible, and time-tested spaces for a variety of clients—resulting in beautiful and memorable places.

Liz has over 25 years of experience designing workplaces, lobby repositions, retail, restaurants, and multi-family housing. Her most recent projects include workplace design work for Toast, PepsiCo, Microsoft, and Frequency Therapeutics. She is also leading the lobby renovation of Two Freedom Square in Reston, Virginia, which is undergoing a transformation as the tenancy shifts to technology based tenants.

Liz holds a B.S. Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati and is active with CREW, NAWIC, NAIOP, and CoreNet. She is a Past President of the Boston Chapter of NAWIC.
