Ethan Lay-Sleeper

Ethan Lay-Sleeper is a seasoned professional in planning and urban design, currently contributing to Sasaki since July 2016. With a robust background in green building advocacy through the USGBC Massachusetts Chapter, Ethan also brings experience from the City of Somerville, where efforts focused on sustainable growth and community engagement. Previous research roles at Urban Metabolism Group and P-REX Lab at MIT highlight expertise in energy flows and environmental reclamation. Additional architectural experience includes work at Of Possible Architectures, WORKSBUREAU, and will bruder architects, where a commitment to innovative design and collaborative processes was emphasized. Ethan holds a Master's degree in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.
