Margit Liander

Margit Liander is an experienced urban planner with a diverse professional background in various planning roles. Currently serving as Associate Principal at Sasaki since February 2016, Liander has previously held positions including Senior Associate and Urban Planner within the same firm. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Planner and Project Planner for the City of Providence, Project Manager at MLF Consulting, and Planning Intern at Montgomery County Planning Commission. Additional roles include Program Coordinator at Partners in Community Building and English Language Teacher at La Escuelita del Encinar. Liander holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Colby College and a Master of City Planning with a concentration in Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania, supplemented by education at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
